Recognizing the need for private student loans for its members, Mutual 1st Federal can now refer students and their families to the EdAccess Private Student Loan, which is available through the cuStudentLoans network of credit union partners.
Private student loans should be used as supplemental funding after exhausting all other sources of financial aid, including grants, scholarships, and federal student loans.
